Little Hunter

Ka (5,5) and Jan Joris (76)

'Ka is a Basenji, which is a Swahili word. Their breed used to hunt with the pigmees in the forest in Congo. They are so small because they had to run through the thick bush. Their breed have cousins all the way up to Egypt which are bigger. But they have only been coming in Northern Europe for less then a 100 years: they are quite vulnerable for the deceases here so until we got penicillin they were not able to survive here. Luckily now they are and we are very happy with her.'
