Lulu (9) and Jeanette (95)

It is morning in Amsterdam and I run into this beautiful smiling woman with her dog siting in the morning sun watching over the canals. She tells me she comes there every day with Lulu although Lulu isn’t her dog: this ex-photo model, ex-fashion designer and ex-manufacturer walks her neighbour’s dog every morning. Not te help her as her neighbour is only in her forties, but to have access to a dog: ‘I always have had dogs, but now I am 95 years old, what would happen to the dog I happen to pass? This way it is much better!’ she smiles at me.
